Emma is such a big girl now

It’s a funny story about this table-toy. I went to a consignment sale and saw it for $10 and put it up front to hold as I shopped. I felt an urgency to go check out so I went up front with one other thing I had found and saw this man walking out with Emma’s table. I ended up having to get it from him after his daughter had already paid for it. LOL! I really wanted it for Emma so she can pull up and play with it. It is normally $50. So, anyways, this is Emma playing with her little table! :)

Today….

I am vowing to make more written notes of Emma’s progress. My mind can no longer hold all this vital information.

Today we went to visit Dad at work and I brought the big stroller I use. Little Emma wanted out of her stroller so bad. I put her on the floor behind it and she pulled up on the lower basket. As I pushed the stroller she took 15-20 steps down the hall towards dad’s office while she held onto the basket. It won’t be long before she takes off for sure!!!

9 Month Checkup…

We were a little late for our 9 month checkup. Emma was really 10 months at this visit. But she weighed 22 lbs and 5 ozs and she was 29 inches long. She is starting to slow her growth down just a little. This picture is her in the waiting room. She was showing off to everyone and showing them how she can crawl and pull up.

Oh no, not another Tarheel Fan!!!

Don’t worry Emma! You don’t have to like the heels! There is a better team just 20 or so miles from Chapel Hill! LOL!

Toy Box

Emma’s new thing is going in things and pulling whatever is in there, out! She loves my underwear drawer. So, I fixed her up a toy box that she can pull her stuff out of. She loves it! That is a challenge in and of itself and it sure keeps downstairs a lot neater!

Under the table!!!

This is Emma in her walker under the table…It HAS been a while since I posted pics! Sorry everybody!!

Emma’s First Rainbow

I took Emma to the store after a big rain storm. The rainbow was incredible and you could see it from one end to the other. I pointed it out to Emma and told her it was a sign of God’s promise to us. She just loved it and was smiling as I told her the story.
