Emma’s First Steps

Anyone who knows me knows that I have been so torn up at the thought of missing Emma’s first steps by going on our upcoming cruise. I have been praying for her to either slow down or speed up so that I don’t miss it. Lucky for me, she sped up! Emma took her first steps today two days before we leave town. And doubly lucky for me, I got it on video, literally moments before I had to return the video camera we had borrowed from Richard’s work. I will share the video as soon as I get it off the camera.

Emma’s New Syllable & Pictures

This is the photo that most folks will receive. She posed like this herself! I can’t believe it! What a doll!!

Emma has just started saying Ka and Kwa. It almost sounds like she is trying to say ‘car’ but I am not sure.

We had her pictures made today and I am uploading them now. Her little bruise showed up a little but she still made some beautiful pictures. The pictures will be in her 13th month album.

I have added links to her 10-13 month albums, also. I am going to update her digital scrapbook album but I don’t know if I will have time today. I didn’t realize how far behind I am on the other stuff. UGH!

Emma’s Birthday Weekend

These pictures always show up in reverse chronological order. I don’t know why. But, we had so much fun celebrating Emma’s birthday all weekend long. We started out in Atlantic Beach and we ended up with two birthday parties that were sooo much fun. We invited a few children and folks to celebrate with us on Saturday at Bur-mil Park right by our house. Emma had fun with the other children and got passed around from lap to lap the whole time. On Sunday, we celebrated with family. Emma had so much fun opening up all her presents and definitely had a field-day with her cake! I love the picture of her shoving icing in her nose. I guess she was saving it for later! Needless to say, she had to have a bath after that cake! The bath even turned the water blue!

I can’t believe this year has flown by and I know we are so blessed for every moment that we spend with this precious baby. Thank you so much for loving our child as much as we do!
