Of course, I will scrap this with the other photos I took. But, I just wanted to let folks know that Emma starts her new school next Wednesday. I went with her yesterday and today and tried out two different rooms with different age ranges. Emma is right at that age where her birthday makes it hard to place her in one group or the other. But, I think the younger age range is going to be a better fit. She really liked the class. They did an art project, had a music class, went on a walk, and played on the playground. Most importantly, she is learning to sit at the table with other children, clean up, and follow the teacher’s instructions. It is hard to see her growing up. But, I know she’s got to! :D

I know it is hard to see in this picture. But, Emma is giving Trey a big smack on the lips. And the funny thing is he kissed her back. He puckered right up and kissed her back. It’s funny when she kisses too, she says, “Mmmmmmm-wah!” This was an extra sweet moment!

Richard has this silly Superman shirt that I really can’t believe he even likes. I remember him coming home from Wal-mart with it and thinking to myself “What the heck?!?!” It just did NOT seem like anything he would pick out. Anyways, it is during moments like this that he IS a SUPERMAN in my eyes…

Well, I need to post the pictures of Emma and Trey together on her blog. But, just a little note to let everyone know how she is doing…

She’s doing great! She LOVES the Trey, who she calls “Beeeeeeeeeeee” at the top of her lungs any time she sees him. We’ve tried to keep her separate from Trey for the first few days because she was sick. But, now that she is better, she has had a lot more time with him. She is so funny. She’ll run over to his swing while he is sleeping and lean over him and get right into his face. She leans her head down on him like she is “giving him love”. Then, she loves taking off his socks so she can see his toes. She’ll point them out to me. She points out his ears and hair, too.

My mom has been taking care of Emma while Richard and I take care of Trey. But, I think little Emma is having a hard time being away from us so much. So, tomorrow we are going to spend some extra special time with her. Then, on Sunday, our church is having a festival/carnival of sorts. So, we are going to have a great time taking the kids to that. I say, “kids” and it really blows my mind…we have TWO babies now. The love of Emma led us to have her brother. But, she will always be our precious girl!!!
